(South Kearny, N.J.) - Diana Thompson has joined the East Coast division of Specialty Commodities, Inc. as a Trader in their New Jersey office.

Thompson brings a Bachelor of Science degree from Centenary College and more than 20 years of experience to Specialties Commodities. She began her career in the early 1980s specializing in California pistachios as well as all other imported and domestic nut and dried fruit products. She possesses extensive hands on knowledge in import/export, sales, purchasing, marketing and production; and remembers well the dramatic changes in both the industry and its technology. She spent the last several years in a sales manager role handling direct marketing of cashew nut production from Brazil, India, Vietnam and Africa.

Thompson joins East Coast Sales Manager, Joe Sukovich, in their New Jersey office. Sukovich has more than 27 years of experience in the specialty foods industry and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University. Their combined years of experience and expertise in the industry show proven dedication and commitment, enhancing our top rated service to East Coast customers.

In addition to our New Jersey office, Specialty Commodities, Inc. has sales and warehousing locations in Fargo, North Dakota and Los Angeles, California. The East Coast office offers a full line of imported and domestic nuts, dried fruits, seeds, snacks, and organics; all available for shipment from New Jersey or our other locations.
